About Satyanarayana Vratam
Usually takes 2–3 hrs.
- Sankalpam and kalasha sthapana
- Invocation and puja to Satyanarayana Swamy
- Katha parayanam - reading the five chapters of the Satyanarayana Katha
- Naivedyam (prasadam, typically sheera/rava kesari) and aarti
- Teertha prasada vitaranam - sharing theertham and prasadam with all present
