Griha Pravesham muhurat: how to choose a date
How the time for a Griha Pravesham is chosen when you book it with Pandith Jee in Hyderabad. We do not publish dates here: your pandit confirms the muhurat for your family.
What the booking shows you
- The good windows of each day, worked out from Hyderabad's own sunrise and sunset on that date: Brahma Muhurta before dawn, Abhijit Muhurta around midday (not on Wednesdays), and the Amrita, Labha and Shubha choghadiyas.
- The day's panchang beside them: tithi, nakshatra, yoga, karana, weekday and paksha.
- Every time in IST, from 24 hours ahead up to 30 days ahead.
What it does not know
- Rules that belong to a Griha Pravesham itself: the booking shows the same windows for every puja.
- Your family's details, such as the nakshatra of the person moving in, your gotra and your tradition.
- The lagna (rising sign) at the moment of entering the house, which many pandits weigh for a Griha Pravesham.
How the time is settled
- Pick a day and a window that suit your family. Nothing is charged.
- Your pandit looks at your family's details and confirms the exact time, or suggests a better one.
- Our office confirms the muhurat and the pandit with you on WhatsApp before you pay.
