About Ganapati Homam
Usually takes 2–3 hrs.
- Sankalpam (statement of intent) and initial Ganapati puja
- Kalasha sthapana and agni pratishtha (lighting the sacred fire)
- Avahanam (invoking Ganapati) with mantra and samidha offerings
- Main ahutis: ghee, durva grass, modakam
- Purnahuti (final offering) and aarti
